Adding Pando Media Booster to the allowed programs list

  1. Click Start then Control Panel.
  2. Windows XP has two different ways to view the Control Panel, Classic View and Category View.
    If your Control Panel is set to Classic View Select Windows Firewall from the list and proceed to Step 4.
    If your Control Panel is set to Category View launch the Security Center as illustrated in Figure 1.

  3. Select Windows Firewall as illustrated below

  4. You should see the Windows Firewall window. Under the General tab verify On (recommended) is selected before moving on.

  5. Select the Exceptions tab and click Add.

  6. Click Browse.

  7. Choose the installation path for PMB. This would typically be C:\Program Files\Pando Networks\Media Booster.
  8. Select PMB.exe and Click Open then click OK.

  9. Pando Media Booster should now have full access. Click OK.
