The United States ranks 27th in the world in average internet-connection speed, according to a new study by Pando Networks, which helps companies share large files with their customers.
The study, which was based on 27 million downloads by 20 million computers in 224 countries, from January through June 2011, also examined connection speed by city: Andover, Mass., was the only American city to crack the top 10. South Korean cities also dominated that list.
